Christmas Photos

Thanks to everyone for making Finley's first Christmas so special. She had a great time getting to meet a lot of new relatives and has very much enjoyed all of her gifts! We hope everyone had as good of a holiday as we did and we wish you all a Happy new year as well. Here are a few photos from the various events we celebrated this holiday.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from The Wichers'

SNOW!

Well, Seattle got hit with a series of snow storms this week, so we've been driving around in our 1 car with All-wheel drive making it to work and back and to finish Christmas shopping. Melissa celebrated her birthday on Sunday, so we packed the car and drove to her sister's house in Stanwood to celebrate with the family and play in the snow. We also celebrated Christmas early with Melissa's Dad's side of the family on Saturday, so it was a busy weekend. Finely had fun seeing and meeting everyone and got a few great gifts. Here are a few pictures from the past week.

3 months old

Little Finley turned 3 months old today. She celebrated by filling her diaper with poo and drooling all over her cute birthday coat. She is doing fantastic and keeping her parents very entertained with her giggles and frequent smiles. We know she is growing because she eats all the time and she no longer fits into any of her 3 month old sized clothes. Here are some photos from the past week:

Finley's First Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! We had a very nice dinner with Melissa's parents this Thanksgiving. Finley had a great time and is starting to smile more and more. We were even able to capture one of them for you (see picture #1). After recovering from our turkey coma's, we took off early morning Friday to do some Christmas shopping and to get a new rocking chair/recliner that Finley has already grown to love. She falls asleep in it in record time! It may be the best piece of furniture we've ever bought. I'll post some photos once we get a couple good ones.

I don't know about your family, but we always sit with straw pumpkins in our laps.

11 Weeks and growing!

Finley is getting bigger and bigger. She's starting to smile more and also loves to coo and make little noises. She can pretty much hold her head up on her own and can stand for minutes at a time. Here are a few picture from the past week.

Finley's First Hockey Game

The Wichers and the Carters headed to the Everett Events Center this past Friday to catch an Everett Sivlertips hockey game. Everyone had a great time and Finley was very well behaved, minus her gesture to the obnoxious fans sitting right behind us (See picture #3).

WANTED: Hooded Bandit

Authorities are currently looking for a hooded bandit that has stolen the hearts of her parents. She was last seen escaping from a bath in a hooded towel and a diaper. Below are some security photos that were taken right before she escaped. She currently weighs 12 lbs. 5 ounces and is approx. 23 inches long. She is considered armed and dangerous and has been known to stop strangers dead in their tracks with her little half-smiles (see security photo #2). Authorities are offering a reward of 5 pairs of trumpette socks for the safe apprehension of the hooded bandit.

Halloween

Finley got dressed up in her little Halloween onesy and her new pumpkin hat and headed out to make an appearance at a friend's Halloween party. She also had a visit to the doctor yesterday and is weighing in at 11 lbs 12. ounces and is now 23 inches long. She's definitely growing like a weed! Here are some photos from Halloween and a couple others from the past week.

Trip to the Japanese Garden

It was a beautiful fall day here in Seattle, so Melissa thought it would be a great idea to take a trip to the Washington Park Arboretum and see all of the great fall color. We ended up finding our way to the Japanese Garden and had a great time walking around in the sun and snapping photos of this amazing landscape this time of year. Enjoy!
