Trip to the Pumpkin Farm
Last weekend we took Finley to her first Pumpkin Patch at a local inner-city farm in Lynnwood. She got to run through the muddy fields, pet baby chickens, miniature goats, feed ducks, and see some very tiny baby piglets. The weather was a bit dreary, but we all had a great time. Here are some pictures and videos.

Gymboree
We've been taking Finley to our local Gymboree's open gym play time a couple times a week. There she gets to run around and climb all over the gym equipment and play with the various toys. She's getting braver and braver with each visit and it's fun to see her interact with the other kids too. Here are some photos and video's from our last visit.

Crazy shaking!!

We call this Finley's mini-Sue Sylvester look (Cheerleader coach from the TV show "Glee"). If you've seen the show you'll know exactly who we're talking about.
Here she is hunting down all the various shakers. Let's hope she can do this with all the clothes in her room when she's 13.

As an avid basketball fan and youth basketball coach, I'm not sure if I should be proud or concerned.

Finley's trip to Friday Harbor
Last weekend the Wichers' packed up and took a day trip up to Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands. Finley got to take her first trip on a ferry. She loved it. She was fascinated by the life rings found on the railings of the Ferry. Finley walked around the ship quite a few times waving and smiling at the other passengers. She was quite a riot.
This week we took her to an open gym at our local Gymboree play center. She made a few new friends and ran around till she literally passed out from exhaustion. She was practicing her climbing, crawling, and balancing skills. She is getting more coordinated by the day. Enjoy the new pictures.

Our daughter the cone head. She loved this thing. She used it as a hat, a megaphone, and a mask. It was pretty entertaining.

13 Months
Finley turns 13 months old on Saturday and the past month has been a busy one for our little girl. She's got a few more teeth, and her walking skills get better by the day. She's learned how to wave "bye bye" and she is picking up new words all the time. She recently picked up the word "sit", from me telling our dog Cole to sit. Unfortunately, Finley's version of "sit" sounds an awful lot like a 4 letter word that begins with shhh. Enjoy the new videos and pictures.

This is her new "finger in the light socket" look.

This is result of Dad trying to teach Finley a very elementary version of "basket" ball. Finley thought she was suppose to get in the basket along with the ball.
