4th of July at Fort Casey

For the 4th of July, we packed up the family in Melissa's parents van and drove up to Fort Casey on Whidbey Island to visit the Carter's who were camping up there in their new trailer. We had a great time walking the beach, touring the fort, and hanging out around the camp fire. Finley had a great time playing with her cousins and exploring on the beach. Here are some photos of our trip!

Aidan and Cole just before Cole lurched into the surf to retrieve a rock I threw. Thankfully he only drug Aidan just to the waters edge and not into it.

Finley talking with Aidan about all the cool rocks she was finding. You can tell he is thrilled to hear about them.

We love fort casey. How fun. My kids are overdue for a field trip up there, thanks for the reminder! Fin is adorable.
